NSA HR Portsmouth Child Development Center (CDC) provides quality child development programs for children ages six weeks to five years. We are a small center, with one infant classroom, one pre-toddler classroom, and one toddler classroom. Each classroom is designed for the growth and development of our children. Our caregivers work diligently to ensure that quality care and nurturance is given to each child. All USDA meals are provided in the cost of childcare and all fees are based on total family income.
Hourly care is also available for a $4 per hour fee. Fees can be paid online or at drop off. Children 6 weeks to 5 years old are eligible to receive care. Eligible sponsors include active duty military, DoD civilians, reservists on active orders, active duty combat-related Wounded Warriors, and surviving spouses of military members who died in combat-related incidents. After meeting the needs of eligible sponsors, Military retirees may then eligible but on a space-available basis.
